The training workshop in Rabat, Morocco was held from 16 – 24 June 2007. The training aimed at enabling the participants to conduct a stakeholder workshop to identify and assess local desertification problems and solutions (WP3.1) and to use the WOCAT questionnaires and databases to document and evaluate existing and potential conservation strategies in their study site (WP3.2).

The training workshop was attended by 10 participants, thereof 2 from Tunisia. It was a pilot run for the training as well as for the first stakeholder workshop.
